Needed a culture pass to the Botanical Gardens. After going to 3 other libraries, I found one at Santa Rosa. What a nice, quiet library! It's a hidden gem. I will go back.

Small library situated on the same grounds as Drachman Elementary and a Headstart. Designated reading areas, study rooms, meeting rooms, computer 🖥 area (available with library card #). Staff are exceptionally nice and welcoming to all. They have a cooling center when you need to get out of the heat. They have snack time for the kids after school 🏫 😋. It does get a little full inside the library Parking absolutely sucks though. There are school staff, Headstart staff, Library staff, outside vendors, and PARENT'S. It's a frenzy trying to find parking. Then you have large trucks and SUV'S, in itself isn't bad if there were more room and wider spaces. My vehicle doors has been hit several times by large vehicles (especially if they have a hard time getting into a parking space). Add covered parking for outside visitors as many of the others TUSD schools 🏫 have done. SUGGESTION: Maybe take some of the field which is very large and convert into covered employee parking 🤔 just an idea 💡.

The staff is wonderful with kids. The KIDCO program is really great, they provide such a wonderful service for working parents. My son loves it there and they seem to really care about enriching and engaging the kids.

This could be a great little park but due to high foot traffic from bums and ghetto people walking the area doesn't feel safe here. Other than you safety its a great park.
